Ryan Bingham

Ryan Bingham has an Oscar nomination to add to his Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards for the song "The Weary Kind", written jointly with T Bone Burnett.

The song is the theme tune to the movie "Crazy Heart", which also picked up nominations for best actor and best supporting actress for Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal. See the video of the song here.

The Oscars will be presented on March 7th. In the Best Original Song category, Bingham and Burnett are up against two songs from "The Princess and the Frog", both written by Randy Newman; "Loin de Paname" from the film "Paris 36"; and "Take it All" from "Nine".

"Crazy Heart" is released in London and Ireland on February 19 and across the UK on March 5.
